Harbor Village is a lakeside, resort-oriented neighborhood with condo complexes, private patios/balconies, and immediate access to beaches and marinas. The vibe is recreational and seasonal: busy and family-focused in summer (boating, swimming, lakefront dining, Raspberry Days festival), quieter in shoulder seasons and winter. Nearby points of interest: Bear Lake State Park beaches, local marinas, Bear Lake West Golf Course (nearby), and short drives into the surrounding mountain/forest recreation areas.

Most visitors get around by car; the town and Harbor Village are low-density and not served by local fixed-route transit. Walking and biking are convenient for lakeside amenities and the immediate Harbor Village area, but trips to grocery stores, larger restaurants, or Logan require driving. Seasonal boat launch and marina access serve water-based travel. Car rental recommended for visitors flying in. Roads: SR‑30/Bear Lake Boulevard is the main arterial around the lake and connects towns along the shoreline.
