This 4BR chalet sleeps 8 and is built for the kind of mountain getaway where everyone actually relaxes — no tripping over each other, no fighting over the thermostat. 2 queen beds, a twin bunk, & a loft with a full bed. Mini-split AC + heat in every room, fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, & self check-in with a smart lock. Easy in, easy out.

The Setting

Tucked into Madison's Eidelweiss Village — quiet, wooded, walkable, with 5 private sandy beaches on Pea Porridge Pond just down the road. North Conway shops & dining are 20 minutes, King Pine is 15, & the Kancamagus is right there for the leaf-peeping drive or a Swift River swim. Silver Lake & White Lake State Parks are both within 15 minutes. Heads-up for winter trips — the approach road is steep, so bring AWD or 4WD December through March.

Inside

Open kitchen, dining, & living on the main floor — the spot where someone's pouring coffee while the kids are still in pajamas on the couch. Real cookware, sharp knives, Keurig + drip, enough wine glasses. Three bedrooms on the lower level share a full bath. The 4th bedroom is the upstairs loft — full bed, open to the room below, no door — perfect for a kid, a teen, or anyone who wants the loft vibe. (Check the photos so you know what you're getting.)

Outside

The upper deck is the heart of the trip — morning coffee on the porch swing, propane grill going by 5, kids dripping wet from the pond, & the outdoor shower handling the sand before anyone tracks it inside. At night, the propane fire pit lights with the push of a button & the hot tub is waiting — open deck, mountain views, stars overhead. Sunsets in summer, snow falling in February, foliage in October. Plus a Level 2 EV charger — plug in on arrival & forget about it.

Guests have private access to the home, deck, and yard. Property is self check in with a code provided to you on arrival day. The beaches are first come first serve.

We give guests space to relax and enjoy the home, but we’re responsive and happy to help if anything comes up. The fastest way to reach us is via the app/message thread.

Please note: access to the home includes a moderately steep hill on the road approaching the property. Most guests have no trouble, but 4WD/AWD is recommended in winter conditions.

Eidelweiss Village is a peaceful, nature-filled community in Madison, NH, nestled in the stunning White Mountains. This charming neighborhood offers access to several private lake beaches, perfect for swimming, kayaking, and picnicking during the warmer months. Just a short drive away, Silver Lake State Park adds more outdoor fun with additional waterfront activities. In the winter, nearby ski resorts and snowshoe trails provide exciting adventures. - Minimum booking age: The primary guest must be 25+ to book, unless traveling with a parent or legal guardian.

- No smoking or vaping (any substance) anywhere inside the home or near open doors/windows. Outdoor smoking is fine — please dispose of properly.

- Chalet layout + stairs: This is a multi-level chalet-style home, so there are stairs between levels. Worth knowing if anyone in your group has mobility considerations.

- Loft sleeping: The 4th bedroom is an open loft on the upper level — no door, open to the living area below. Best for kids, teens, or easygoing sleepers.

- Parking: Driveway parking available for multiple vehicles. The road approaching the home has a moderately steep hill — most guests have no trouble, but AWD/4WD is recommended in winter
conditions.

- EV charger: Level 2 charger on-site, free for guest use. Just bring your cable.

- Hot tub: Available year-round. Professionally serviced before every stay. Please rinse off (water only — no soap or detergent) before getting in to keep the water chemistry happy.

- Grill + fire pit: Propane grill and propane fire pit are on the deck and ready to use. Propane is provided. In winter months, snow and ice may limit deck access — we keep a clear path to and from the hot tub.

- Laundry: Washer and dryer available for guest use.

- Pets: Dogs welcome — please include them in your reservation so we know who's coming.

- Quiet neighborhood: Eidelweiss is a quiet, family-friendly village. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM — please be mindful of neighbors.

- Winter travel: Mountain weather is unpredictable in winter — plan for snowy/icy roads, give yourself extra time, and bring a vehicle that can handle it.
