This protection only applies to a watch or warning issued within 7 days of your arrival. It does not cover a watch or warning issued earlier, since long-range forecasts often change. If a qualifying watch or warning is issued, reach out to us right away. For any other cancellation or weather concern, our standard Airbnb cancellation policy applies.

Very safe neighborhood, with great neighbors. The house is located in a 1 way street.

There are many restaurants and bars (Brick house and The Spot) located within half mile of our house. The beach is 6 blocks away and within easy walking distance. The Strand is a short 5 minute drive where Galveston's night life gets lively.

If you prefer not to drive your own car, we would recommend renting a Golf Cart at Galveston Golf Cart rentals, or Uber is always a good option!

What if there's a tropical storm or hurricane watch?
If the National Hurricane Center issues a Tropical Storm Watch or Hurricane Warning for Galveston County within 7 days of your arrival, you can request a free reschedule (within 12 months) and apply all host-paid funds to your future stay. Any refund of Airbnb processing fees and taxes are at the discretion of Airbnb and are outside of your hosts' control. Our standard Airbnb cancellation policy applies to all other situations.
