About this cabin
Conductor's Cabin has been renewed piece by piece since 2023 — new furnishings, a new hot tub in 2024, a remodeled bathroom in 2025, and this year, a new kitchen top to bottom. The view hasn't needed updating: year-round Smoky Mountain scenery from a covered porch built for sitting still. Starlink keeps the Wi-Fi fast even this high up, so streaming or working remotely isn't a compromise.

**INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY**
The road up is paved and gravel both — no 4WD needed, but it climbs. That's what earns the view. We can't control the weather, and your vehicle's safety on the road is your own responsibility. Weather isn't grounds for a refund outside our standard cancellation policy — travel insurance is worth having.
**PET POLICY**
We're pet-friendly. Just tell us ahead of your stay — a cleaning fee applies.
**RENTAL AGREEMENT**
Your booking isn't confirmed until you've signed the required rental agreement — a link is included in your booking confirmation.
**WHAT TO BRING**
Extra toilet paper for longer stays (one roll is provided), extra towels if your group plans to use the hot tub, and firewood if you'd like a fire going.
