About this cabin
When your group is large enough to need a cabin, you need one that actually delivers — not just beds, but space to gather, a kitchen that can handle it, and enough bathrooms that mornings aren't a disaster. Aspen Lodge was built for exactly this. At 3,900 sq ft across three floors, it's one of the largest and most well-appointed cabins in Brian Head, and with 25 sleeping spots, the math often works out to less per person than a hotel room.
You won’t want to go back home after spending a wonderful time in this Brian Head Utah cabin. Year-round access. Plenty of parking for cars and even trailers. We stock all your toilet paper, paper towels, trash sacks/bags and soap needs for dishes.
Paved and city maintained roads right to the corner of the cabin.
Seconds from the Greatest Snow on Earth and spectacular summer mountain biking and hiking in Brian Head Ski and Summer Resort. A short drive to fabulous Southern Utah fishing, 2 majestic National Parks: Zions National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park, and 2 majestic National Monuments: Cedar Breaks National Monument and Grand Staircase Escalante.

I give you space, and I step in only when you ask for help. I answer questions fast and share useful local tips. My goal is to make your stay smooth, comfortable, and hassle-free.
Brian Head is Utah's highest incorporated town at 9,800 feet — a small, rustic mountain village set deep in Dixie National Forest. With a permanent population of around 150, it has the feel of a private mountain escape rather than a commercial resort town. Summers stay cool in the 60s and 70s while the valleys below bake; winters bring some of the deepest snow in the American West, averaging over 360 inches annually.
The cabin sits on Irish Trail, a quiet residential street named for the Irish-heritage Adams family who ranched this land in the late 1800s — Brian Head's original "Little Ireland." It's tucked among aspens and pines on the east side of town, away from the main highway corridor, but only a 2-minute drive to either ski lodge.
The town center along Hwy 143 has local restaurants, Georg's Ski Shop for gear rentals, and the Bristlecone Pond recreation area with fishing, kayaking, pickleball, and a community pavilion. Cedar Breaks National Monument — one of Southern Utah's most stunning and underrated parks — is literally 5 minutes down the road.
A car is essential — there's no public transit to Brian Head. The cabin has a 2-car garage plus ample driveway and street parking, including space for trailers. 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended in winter; chains may be required on Hwy 143 during heavy snow. Plan to arrive with any supplies you need — the nearest full grocery store is in Cedar City, 40 minutes down the mountain.
Brian Head Resort is a 2-minute drive. A free in-town shuttle runs between the Giant Steps and Navajo lodges during ski season. The Brian Head Express offers daily round-trip shuttles from Cedar City.
Key distances:

• Bryce Canyon National Park: ~75 min drive
