One of the nicest things about this apartment is that four people can stay together without feeling crowded or sacrificing their privacy.

✨ The main bedroom feels like its own little suite, with a comfortable 160 × 200 cm queen bed, an en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, dedicated air conditioning and access to a private balcony.

✨The second bedroom also has a 160 × 200 cm queen bed, blackout curtains and its own wardrobe. A second full bathroom is located nearby, so each couple can comfortably have its own bathroom.

✨ Both bathrooms have toilets and enclosed walk-in showers with strong water pressure. The larger bathroom also has a double sink.
Each guest receives an XL bath towel, a medium towel, a face towel and a beach towel, along with basic toiletries.

✨ Between the bedrooms is a bright, open living and dining area with high ceilings and enough space for everyone to relax together. Quality windows and heavy blackout curtains keep the apartment remarkably quiet when closed.

✨ The kitchen is made for real cooking, not only preparing breakfast.
You’ll find an oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, toaster, kettle, cookware, wine glasses and an automatic bean-to-cup espresso machine.
Coffee beans, tea, milk, oil, salt, sugar and spices are provided to make your first morning easier.

The indoor dining table seats six, while the spacious living room has a large Smart TV, Bose sound system, fast Wi-Fi and a pellet fireplace for cooler stays.

✨ A separate storage room contains a washing machine and dryer, with detergent capsules and fabric softener provided.

✨ Outside, the private south-facing terrace becomes a second living area. There is an outdoor dining table for up to eight, built-in seating, a lounge corner and a large sun umbrella. It is a lovely place for morning coffee, working outside, dinner or a quiet glass of wine after exploring Split.

✨ The main bedroom also has its own balcony with a small table and two chairs.

Location

Equanimity Residence is in Meje, a safe residential neighbourhood just above Split’s West Coast promenade.

You can enjoy quieter nights away from the busiest tourist streets while remaining within an easy walk of the city:

* Approximately 15 minutes to the Riva and Diocletian’s Palace
* Less than 5 minutes to grocery shops, a bakery and a fruit and vegetable shop
* A short walk to cafés, restaurants and the waterfront
* Jadran swimming area, the local cliff-jumping spot and Kaštelet Beach within walking distance

The walk into town is mostly flat and leads you towards the West Coast promenade, Hotel Ambasador and the Riva.

You will also be close to some of my personal favourites, including Krug, where my friend Karlo creates one of the best fine-dining experiences in Split. And yes, I am completely biased, but deservedly so :)

A car is not necessary for exploring central Split.
However, it is useful if you plan to visit Trogir, beaches farther from the centre, shopping malls or places outside the city.

The complete apartment, terrace, balcony and one reserved outdoor parking space are exclusively yours during the stay.

Your parking space is directly in front of the house and has a lockable parking barrier, so you never need to search for a space when returning.

Self check-in is available any time after 15:00. A few days before arrival or at the latest 24 hours beforehand, I will send:

Arriving somewhere unfamiliar should not feel like a treasure hunt.
You will know exactly where to go before you get here, and I’ll remain available if you need help.

The owners, Dan and Paul, live abroad, while I am your local co-host here in Split.
I have spent more than a decade welcoming guests and will help you with everything from arrival and parking to airport transfers, restaurants, beaches and day trips.

If something unexpected happens, you will have a real local person to contact, not only an entry code and an automated message.

Please read these details before booking so you know exactly what to expect:

✨ There are approximately 20 outdoor steps from the parking space to the apartment and no elevator.
✨ The reserved space is roomy for a standard car or SUV. Vans and very large vehicles may struggle.
✨ As is common in older Split neighbourhoods, cars park on both sides of the approach street. There is enough room to pass, but drivers unfamiliar with narrow European streets may find turning less comfortable.

✨ The second bedroom is cooled by an AC unit positioned immediately outside its door. For the coolest temperature, its door should remain open.
✨ The terrace is exclusively yours, but it is not completely secluded and can be seen from neighbouring homes.
✨ The former sea view is now partly blocked by the Marjan Hotel building. A small glimpse of the sea remains in the distance, but we do not advertise the apartment as having a sea view.
✨ Minor hotel construction may sometimes be heard outside. With the apartment windows closed, the interior is extremely quiet.
✨ The smaller bedroom is comfortable, but there is limited floor space for leaving a large suitcase fully open.

✨ Smoking is allowed only on the terrace or balcony.
✨ Parties, pets and unregistered visitors are not permitted.
✨ Children and babies are welcome. A cot, high chair and other baby equipment can be prepared on request.
✨ A security camera records only the exterior stairs leading towards the terrace and entrance. It does not monitor any indoor or private guest area.

When leaving the terrace or going to sleep, please close the umbrella. During rain, please bring the outdoor cushions inside. Split’s wind can arrive rather dramatically and has absolutely no respect for garden furniture ❤️
