Old Town Split is best explored on foot. Its narrow stone streets and charming alleys make walking easy, scenic, and enjoyable.

Diocletian’s Palace sits at the centre, with landmarks like the Peristyle, Cathedral of St. Domnius, and the Riva just minutes away.

For trips beyond the Old Town, taxis, ride-shares, buses, bikes, and scooters are easily available. Car access is limited inside the centre, with parking located just outside the Old Town.

✨ Aurato is located on the second floor of a historic Old Town building (no elevator), adding to its authentic charm.

✨ If you’re arriving by car, you may briefly stop next to the building to unload luggage. We recommend one person stays with the vehicle while unloading, as Old Town streets are lively and regulated.

Please note that parking in Split’s historic centre can be limited, especially during the high season. A paid public parking option is available on Petra Svačića Street, approximately a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
