Cosy 2-Bed Bungalow, Garden Office & Parking, Newcastle

A traditional two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow in quiet residential neighbourhood of Clayton, Newcastle-under-Lyme. Everything is on one level, with a comfy lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a dedicated garden cabin for a home office, a private garden with patio seating, and parking for several cars plus a garage. Pets welcome too.

It's ideal for families, contractors, hospital visitors and anyone exploring the Potteries. Trentham Estate, Keele and Royal Stoke Hospital are about 10 minutes away, and Newcastle town centre is 5 minutes by car.

The space

Living and dining:
A relaxed open-plan lounge with a large corner sofa and double plush sofa, modern artwork, and a dining table that seats 6. A smart TV and wifi.

A double sofa bed can sleep 2 children or 1 adult.

Bedroom 1:
A Superking bed with crisp white 100% cotton linen, bedside lamps and plenty of built-in wardrobe and overhead storage.
This can be split into 2 single beds too.

Bedroom 2:
Two single 6ft beds with crisp white 100% cotton linen, bedside lamps and patio door to the garden.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped, with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer dryer, kettle, toaster, and all the cookware, crockery and cutlery you need. Plates and bowls from Portmeirion, a local pottery company. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar to get you started for your stay.

Bathroom:
A shower, basin and toilet. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and handwash, with towels provided.

With a grab bar, shower seat and no step into the shower for guests who need these accessible features.

Laundry:
A washer-dryer, iron and ironing board, clothes airer and pegs.

Outside:
A private, mature garden with a paved patio, a table and chairs, and a garden summer house with a dedicated workspace. Seating for relaxation!

Parking:
Free parking for several cars on the driveway, plus space for 1 car in the garage with a roller shutter.

Heating: gas central heating and hot water on demand from a combi boiler.

Guest access
Guests have the whole bungalow, garden and driveway to themselves. Self check-in is by key safe, and the code is emailed to guests on the day they arrive.

Other things to note

Everything is on one level, with no stairs inside.
Fast Wi-Fi throughout.
The Nuffield Health private hospital is just around the corner, and Royal Stoke University Hospital is about 10 minutes' drive.
Stoke-on-Trent railway station is about 10 minutes' drive, with direct trains to Manchester, Birmingham and London.
There's a 24-hour Morrisons Daily nearby on Clayton Road.

Guests are free to use the entire home, including the garden office, garden and garage with roller shutter door.

The Bin day is Wednesdays, so if you're able to, please do pull the wheelie bins out on Tuesday nights to help us manage the waste.

In our Newcastle under Lyme borough, we have these bins:

- Blue bin for recycling like glass and plastic
- Blue bag for cardboard and paper
- Green caddy for food waste
