LakeView Nook - Walk to Coffee Shop & Boat Slip

Step into vacation mode the moment you arrive. This loft features a large deck with expansive views of the lake and a cozy fire-table.
It is located in the center of Deep Creek, easy access to all the lake has to offer. The State Park beach and Wisp Resort are only an 8-minute drive away. Walk to coffee shop, restaurants, and water-sports rentals.
A private boat slip located just a short walk directly across from the unit is available at an additional cost. Message host for details.

Living room has beautiful lake views, a wood-burning fireplace, TV, DVD Player with a DVD collection to select from. We professionally clean and inspect the fireplace & chimney early. We stock up our unit with firewood from October through March. We make sure there are at least 6 wood logs and 2 fire-starter sticks for your stay.

Deck has a seating area with a propane fire-table and an eating area with a dining table that sits 4 and a propane grill. We do our best to ensure there is enough propane for your convenience upon arrival; however, should it run out during your stay, guests are responsible for replacing the tanks if more is needed.

There is one bathroom with a mini washer and drier available for small loads. Laundry Pods provided.
Bathroom features a shower/bathtub combo.
Provided: Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash/Body Lotion and Make up remover.

Kitchen has a full-size fridge, dishwasher, stove, cooktop & microwave. It is stocked with pepper, salt, cooking oil and all the utensils necessary for a basic meal. There is also a drip coffee pot and, a Keurig machine and an electric tea kettle. Coffee grounds, filters and tea selection available.

Bedroom has a queen size bed, a dresser and closet.

There is a spiral staircase that leads to the loft. It's not safe for small children. Loft has a day bed, books and board games perfect for lounging.

*Please note that reaching this unit requires walking up a flight of stairs, so it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Wildlife & Insects
Being close to nature means you will likely encounter local wildlife, including bears, deer, and chipmunks. While we have regular pest control, you may occasionally see insects like bees or mosquitoes. Please respect the animals—this is their home, and we are just visiting!

Weather & Refunds
The weather at Deep Creek is famously unpredictable and can change rapidly. We do not offer refunds for inclement weather; however, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance through Airbnb during checkout to protect your trip.

Location & Noise
Our central location puts you right in the heart of the action, which means some road noise is to be expected. To access the lake, you will need to cross a busy road, please use the crosswalk.

Road Maintenance
PLEASE NOTE: During the month of AUGUST & SEPTEMBER, the community association is repaving neighborhood roads. Paving work occurs during weekdays from 7am to 5pm depending on weather. No work is performed on weekends or holidays. You may see construction trucks parked nearby but they have been instructed to not obstruct the view and leave our parking spot available.


BOAT SLIP Rental Rules & Guidelines
1. Pricing
First 2 Nights: $50 per night
Additional Nights: $30 per night
2. Reservation & Cancellation Policy
Your boat slip space is not guaranteed if your reservation and payment are not received at least 4 days prior to your arrival.
Boat Slip cancellations made within 48 of your check-in time will incur a $75 charge.
3. Check-In & Mandatory Waiver
You must check in at High Mountain Sports before accessing your slip.
You must sign a liability waiver and release form in person. Please bring your basic boat information.
4. Arrival & Departure Times
Check-In Day: Slip is available starting at 3:00 PM.
Check-Out Day: Slip must be vacated by 3:00 PM.
Note: Extensions may be available if no other guests are arriving or departing on those days. Contact us closer to your stay to check availability.
5. Slip & Watercraft Limits
Rentals are strictly limited to one boat or one personal watercraft (jetski) per slip.
The slips are 20-foot slips, and boats maximum length of 24 feet. Boats exceeding this length cannot be accommodated. Liability: We are not responsible for any damage done to your vessel.
6. Trailer Parking & Boat Ramp Policy
No On-Site Trailer Parking: Boat trailers and off-water boat storage are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. You must arrange off-site trailer storage prior to arrival. Recommended Trailer Storage: Double G RV Park in McHenry. Fee required.
Recommended Boat Ramp: Deep Creek Lake State Park. Fee required.
