This thoughtfully designed modular home offers a comfortable and efficient base for your mountain adventures. The bright, open layout combines cozy comfort with smart functionality, featuring warm finishes, comfortable furnishings, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

The kitchen is well equipped with full-size appliances and everything you need to prepare meals, whether it’s a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or a relaxed dinner with friends. The adjoining living space makes it easy to gather together, with comfortable seating, a welcoming atmosphere, and a dining table that seats up to eight.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, there’s space for families or groups to settle in with ease. Each bedroom is perfect for restful nights after busy days outdoors, while the bathrooms add convenience and comfort.

Practical touches like in-home laundry with a washer and dryer, as well as ample parking, make longer stays simple and stress-free. Outside, a private deck with a BBQ provides the perfect spot to cook, dine, and unwind under the stars.

Please note, there is a coal train that runs through Fernie. No matter where you stay, you will hear it!

Montane area – Fernie’s premier mountain-living neighbourhood

Nestled just southeast of historic downtown Fernie, the Montane neighbourhood is a visionary mountain community crafted for those who live for the outdoors. Designed with thoughtful connections to Fernie’s historic core, it blends modern living with environmental stewardship and communal wellbeing.

Trail-at-your-door access — Over 20 km of multi-use trails wind through the neighbourhood, perfect for hiking, mountain biking, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and more.

Warm up at the Montane Hut — One of the network’s highlights, this cozy hut offers panoramic Elk Valley views and a crackling fireplace, maintained in partnership with the Fernie Trails and Ski Touring Club.

Easy access to recreation — Green (Nordic-only) trails extend from gentle open flats into forested challenges, with connections to the broader Castle Mountain trail system. A new trailhead on Montane Parkway continues to improve access.

Expansive mountain views — Homesites here frequently enjoy 360° vistas of iconic peaks like Mt. Hosmer, the Three Sisters, and Cedar Valley.

Close to town, close to play — You’re just minutes from cafés, shops, schools, and the lifts at Fernie Alpine Resort, yet enveloped in a setting that feels like a national park.

You need a vehicle to get to Fernie but once here you can explore trails on the doorstep and even take a stroll into downtown. Durning the winter months there is a ski shuttle that you can pick up in downtown.
