If your family is craving the familiarity of a classic beach house from yesteryear, the Ross House is for you! At 150 years old, this “grand old dame” prioritizes old-world craftsmanship and comfort. And there’s nothing missing from this backyard! Features here include a seasonal pool, fire pit, lawn games like horseshoes and a basketball hoop and a garage game room with pool and ping pong tables. With 7 bedrooms and 4 baths, there’s plenty of room for the entire family to find their own space. Living Spaces As you walk up the front steps to a covered front porch complete with a wooden bench, you’ll feel like you’re home already. And it just gets better when you walk inside. The first of two side-by-side living rooms is furnished with a cozy sofa and two chairs, one of which is situated in a sunny alcove with stained glass windows, perfect for curling up with a good book.  The large HDTV invites you to relax with a beverage and a snack while you stream your favorite new bingeable show. Either way, this welcoming space will surely become one of your favorites. The second living room is perfect for quiet conversation, set up with a sofa and two chairs facing each other. A great spot for planning your next day’s activities! And don’t forget the seasonal garage game room with pool and ping pong. Enjoy a friendly competition on days when the outdoor weather doesn’t quite cooperate. Please note that the garage is not heated.Cooking & DiningThe fully equipped kitchen at Ross House has an appealing rustic vibe and will be a joy for your family chef. Here, he or she will enjoy the use of stainless steel appliances, solid surface counters, beautiful tiled backsplash and plenty of storage space. Warm wood cabinets add to the aesthetic appeal of this welcoming room. A moveable kitchen island with a stainless steel top is also available for your convenience.  The family can enjoy full meals together in one of the adjacent dining rooms, the first with a decorative cozy fireplace for ambiance and the second with a TV if you simply must check the scores during dinner.Bed & BathThe first level of the Ross House features a primary suite with a beautiful queen sleigh bed, nightstand with lamp and seating area. The ensuite bath offers a walk-in shower. Another full bath with a clawfoot tub and shower is on the first level. The remaining 6 bedrooms are on the second level and share two full baths, both with walk-in showers. Outdoor SpacesEnjoy a lazy day at the pool and basking in the sun in one of the outdoor loungers. If the mood strikes later in the day, challenge a family member to a fun game of horseshoes or basketball. In the evening, break out the graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows for s’mores over the fire pit!Additional InformationThe swimming pool is typically open from May through September, weather depending, and is set to a comfortable 82 degrees. However, pool does not have a cover so it can struggle to maintain the pool temperature during cold weather. If you are inquiring for specific dates around the opening or closing dates of the swimming pool, please inquire with a reservationist for more information. During the peak season, this home has a 7-night minimum and rents Saturday - Saturday.
