Nestled in El Paso County just east of the town of Monument, Woodmoor offers guests a peaceful retreat in a beautifully forested, semi-rural setting. The Lake Woodmoor area is part of this larger Woodmoor community, often referred to as part of the Tri-Lakes region (which includes Monument Lake, Palmer Lake, and Lake Woodmoor)

Lake Woodmoor offers a peaceful, suburban retreat surrounded by nature, so having a car is the easiest way to explore and get around. Monument is conveniently located right off I-25, making it simple to reach nearby cities and attractions:

🚗 U.S. Air Force Academy – 15 minutes

🚗 North Colorado Springs – 20 minutes

Parking is free and readily available throughout the neighborhood, and most driveways are spacious enough for multiple vehicles.

While public transportation is limited in the Monument area, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are available. For visitors flying in, both Colorado Springs Airport (COS) and Denver International Airport (DEN) are convenient options—approximately 40 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes away, respectively.

During winter months, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is recommended, as neighborhood roads can be snowy or icy.

🏡 House Rules & Neighborhood

This is our home; not a hotel. This is a non-smoking (both inside and outside front porch not patio space), peaceful lakeside residential community. The home is best suited for guests who value privacy, calm, wellness and elevated stays. HOA has a strict rule on the number of guests, with a maximum of 10 per stay per the bylaws at any time during the booking.

Quiet hours strictly enforced: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

No pets. No parties. Strictly no smoking and/or vaping. No outdoor shoes inside the house.
