Our home is two stories with the living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom on the 2nd floor. The downstairs wellness area provides a warm living area with pull-out futon sleeper sofa, 65” TV, bathroom, workout area including a stationary bike, weights and yoga mat. The hardest part of your stay might be deciding whether to spend the evening in the hot tub, sauna, or around the firepit.

Whether you're chasing powder at one of the ski mountains, exploring Catskill trails, or spending the weekend moving between the hot tub, sauna, and firepit, The Porter House was designed for slowing down and making memories.

A few things to note:
• We’re family-friendly –the house was designed by parents. A pack n play and sheets, high chair, and children kitchen plates/utensils are available on site. We also have a few books and games for the kiddos.

• 🐾We happily welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs. We know vacations are better when the whole family comes along, and with 3 private acres and a creek to explore, The Porter House is a great getaway for both you and your pup. We ask all pet owners to be respectful of the property and future guests by following our pet guidelines:
o Up to 2 dogs per stay at $$ per dog
o Must be house-trained.
o Please clean up after your dog both indoors and outdoors. We don’t want to have any surprise landmines.
o We ask that dogs do not get on the couches and bed. If this is not possible, there is a gray blanket in the wellness room closet that you can use.
o Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or additional cleaning needs.

• The kitchen, bedroom, and main living area are located on the 2nd floor, so stairs are required to access the primary living spaces.

• ❄️As is common in the Catskills, winter weather can bring snow and icy conditions. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended during the winter months.

• Wildlife is frequently seen in the area. Please enjoy observing animals from a safe distance and avoid leaving food outdoors.

• During rainy or snowy weather, outdoor cushions may be stored inside to keep them clean and dry. Feel free to set them out whenever conditions improve.

• Please treat The Porter House as you would your own home. Guests are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning beyond normal use.

• There are no cameras inside the home or in private outdoor areas. One exterior camera at the front entrance is used solely for property security and guest safety.

Most importantly, The Porter House is family-owned and owner-managed, not operated by a large management company. We know every inch of the home and are committed to making your stay as seamless as possible, from booking to checkout.
