Single-level home (~100 m²) on a private, gated ~500 m² lot in a quiet residential pocket of Pelada. Inside: bright living area with a lounge daybed; well-equipped kitchen with an island and full-size appliances; separate laundry room. Climate: A/C + ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living room; ceiling fan on the porch. Two bedrooms—queen with en-suite, and a twin room with roll-out trundle—plus a second bathroom. Outside: shaded porch with the main dining table facing a mature tropical garden, and an above-ground plunge pool. Private parking inside the gate.

You'll have full and exclusive access to the home and everything around it — the porch, the garden, the pool, the outdoor shower, and parking inside the gate. It's all yours for the stay.

Karuna, our co-host, lives in the home next door on the same gated lot. She'll greet you, help with check-in, and is around if you ever need anything — while fully respecting your privacy.

Pelada is one of Nosara's most loved neighborhoods — small, walkable, and a bit slower than Guiones. From the house you can easily walk to:

✦ Pelada Beach (5 min) — quieter than Guiones, with stunning sunsets
✦ The river mouth (5 min) — howler monkeys, birds, and a peaceful walk
✦ Some of the best cafés and restaurants in town
✦ The yoga studios and shops of Guiones (a longer walk or a quick tuk-tuk)

Lagarta Lodge is a 2-minute walk uphill — espresso and quiet balconies overlooking the river mouth, and a beautiful spot to work or read.

It's a small, local pocket of Costa Rica — the kind of place you fall into the rhythm of quickly.

Pelada is relaxed and walkable — you can reach the beach, river path, and most local spots on foot. For longer trips around Nosara, a rental car or ATV makes life easy. The access road is bumpy in places (and can get muddy in the rainy season), so a higher-clearance car or 4×4 is the most comfortable — regular cars are fine if you take it slow. Parking is on-site, inside the gate.

• Two steps at the front door; once inside, everything is on one level.
• Above-ground plunge pool is unheated and ladder-access only (ozone filter; no chlorine). Children must be supervised.
• ≈3-minute walk to the Boca/estuary and ≈5-minute walk to Playa Pelada; sunset views and reserve trails at Lagarta Lodge nearby.
• 5–10 min drive to Guiones surf, yoga (Bodhi Tree / Harmony / Nalu), cafés and shops.
• Quiet neighborhood — please keep noise low after 10 pm.
• Jungle life visits the garden (birds, monkeys, iguanas, insects); keep screens closed.
• Please switch A/C off when out.
• One car can park inside the gate.
