The Castoway Canopy - Private Couples Cabin

Step into your beautifully decorated rustic cabin, designed for comfort and ease. Keep snacks and drinks chilled in the mini fridge, and rest on a plush king bed. Brew your favorite drink with the K-cup coffee maker, and microwave for your evening popcorn. We also have a fan and a mini split to cool you down. We have an authentic rustic table with two chairs.

The Castoway Canopy Cabin includes a front deck with outside chairs. We have outside grills and a game area. Refrigerator, microwave and K-Cup Coffee. We provide 4 - K-cups of different flavors from Blackout Coffee. Our Country Store has additional supplies.

We have a Marina, laundry facilities, public boat ramp, bait & tackle and weekend BBQ.


If you need more room, rent multiple cabins.

We have a Electronic Lock on the door and a code will be issued the day before arrival.

We have an open park, picnic tables, grills, yard games, boat parking, non-ethanol fuel, boat ramp and BBQ food served on Friday, Saturday and Sundays by a local food vendor.

We have 4 1/2 bathrooms but are not in the cabin. We have a half bath very close to the cabins. We also have a full bathroom with a shower near the office/Store. We also have a half bath next to the laundry room. We are remodeling two full bath rooms and should be done by November.

Hello - we offer many ways of good communication. We are open in the Country Store Monday 6am-3pm and Tuesday through Sunday 6am - 8pm.

We have part time and full time staff while some live on-site.

We also respond if you send messages via AIRBNB.


Stay in The Castoway Canopy Cabin, a cozy rustic Cabin! Enjoy warm interiors, a king bed. Relax on the front deck, waterfront deck or our floating dock. A peaceful, unique waterfront escape full of charm and comfort.

We sell Live Bait & Tackle for all of your fishing needs. We even have poles. Kayaks located onsite for an extra $35 for 4 hours.

Rustic Chairs, a table and authentic log cabin. We are a Huge Fishing Destination and lots of boating activity. Bring your boat and dock it for free. We are also located outside of the Villages & Ocala National Forest.

Hiking & Biking:
This 3,400 acre wetland restoration area is right across the street. It offers visitors 20 miles of hiking trails, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, bicycling and picnicking.

Our Country Store has light snacks, drinks, candy, ice cream, toiletries, fire wood, extra sheet sets for $30 just to name a few things..

Just steps outside, you’ll have access to an outdoor bathroom, offering convenience without compromising the natural, tranquil setting.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY NOTE
We want every guest to have a wonderful stay. Please be aware that reaching your cabin requires traveling over gravel paths and wet grass. Although we’ve welcomed many wheelchair users who had great experiences, there are no paved walkways. We have one dedicated Yurt that has a wheelchair ramp, and each yurt has a small set of steps at the entrance. We share this information so you can plan comfortably and confidently. The Cast, Catch & Chill Yurt has the only ramp to it.

24/7 VIDEO MONITORING NOTICE
For the protection of our units and boat spaces, its monitored around the clock. Cameras are used only in outdoor areas—never inside private spaces, restrooms, or showers.

We have grills, corn hole, horse shoes, and a pickleball court under construction. Lots of fishing spots, access to kayaks.

Unauthorized/not pre-approved guests over the amount of the booked inhabitants will be subject to a $50/person charge.

NO SMOKING In the CABINS or on the DECKS…will result in a $175 charge.

FYI - Consider all bodies of water in Florida to contain a Gator.

Due to wild animals such as Bears and Racoons, please store food in containers and/or refrigerator. Do not leave food out.
