One of the best things about Honey Bee Cottage is its location. Forsyth Park is about a 5-minute walk away, with Savannah’s famous squares, historic architecture, cafés, restaurants, and attractions waiting beyond.

With a Walk Score of 80 and Bike Score of 96, you can leave the car behind and experience much of Savannah on foot.

Dogs are welcome at Honey Bee Cottage! The private fenced patio makes traveling with your pup a little easier, and Mother Mathilda Beasley Park—with its dedicated dog park—is just a short walk away. Forsyth Park is also about a 5-minute walk from the cottage, giving you plenty of options for getting outside and exploring Savannah together.

Honey Bee Cottage is tucked away on a quiet side street right in Savannah’s South Historic District, so you’ll be in the heart of everything while still enjoying some peace and quiet. Your walk to Forsyth Park takes you down a few lovely blocks of E. Hall Street, lined with beautiful historic homes. Along the way, you’ll pass a local favorite coffee shop and bakery called Mate Factor, and just a bit farther is Saint Bibbiana, a fantastic Italian spot. As you enter Forsyth Park, you’ll see The Collins Quarter, known for its amazing brunch and great atmosphere. Heading the other way brings you to Mother Mathilda Beasley Park and several of the city’s charming historic squares. It’s really an ideal location to experience the best of Savannah. Incredibly walkable with all the conveniences you may need (groceries, coffee, restaurants and a local liquor store - Johnny Ganem’s).

The Cottage is located within walking distance from virtually anything in the Historic District. You can also use two free transportation options within the Historic District including a free car service and the free DOT shuttle. Otherwise you can use Uber, which has good service or drive your own car (driving in Savannah is relatively easy).

• Starter supplies provided (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods)
• Pet fee: $75 (applied after booking)
• Early check-in/late check-out available through the guest portal (fees apply)
• No smoking ($100 fee for violations)
• Street cleaning: Tuesdays 12:01am–4:00am—simply move your car to the other side of the street ahead of time
