This is a peaceful working cattle ranch on 27 acres. You'll see and hear friendly cattle grazing near by. Their behind fencing and completely safe, but they do moo occasionally especially at sunrise and sunset. Country quiet, means roosters, crickets and occasional coyote howl at night. Pure Texas soundtrack. The driveway is gravel any vehicle is fine, sports cars sit a little low. We are 12-15 minutes from downtown Hallettsville and Schulenburg on quiet country roads. Cell service and star link wi-fi are both strong. No parties or events unless approved by us. This is a true relax and unwind retreat. Check-in anytime after 4pm, with keypad entry instructions sent the morning of arrival.

A car is required for this area- public transportation is not available in the countryside. Roads are easy to navigate, parking is free, and guests have private access to the property. The surrounding towns, grocery stores, and restaurants are all within a short drive. Once you're here, everything you need for a peaceful stay is on-site

Bugs and critters: Mosquitoes and fireflies come with warm evening. You might spot a harmless armadillo or scorpion. Water and septic: Well water +septic system- please no wipes or non-toilet-paper items flushed. Trash pick up. Weather: summers are hot (A/C keeps it cool inside), winters can dip below freezing.
